My mother was carrying me when she married my father in Las Vegas, just a few years ago. OK, OK, it was more than a few years ago. A few decades ago. Anyway, being carried by my pregnant mother in old Vegas is the only explanation I can think of for why I felt right at home during my first post-natal visit here in 2004.
